For Every Two Girls, There Shall Exist One Cup

In mathematics and the arts, two quantities are in the golden ratio if the ratio of the sum of the quantities to the larger quantity is equal to the ratio of the larger quantity to the smaller one. Other names frequently used for the golden ratio are the golden section and golden mean.

Iron Chef

I helped out with an Iron Chef competition at work. I was the chef advisor for one of the four teams. My competition included the University chef and one of the IT guys that is a classically trained gourmet chef, studying at places like wherever the hell Julia Childs trained. We were only supposed to be advisors, but when I saw the school chef doing an awful lot of work on his team I stepped in and made a few dishes. My team came in second, but was favored to win.
